TEIA is seeking responsible, energetic, and caring Camp Counselors to support campers throughout the camp day. Counselors help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment by leading activities, supervising campers, supporting daily routines, and communicating clearly with staff and families.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and support campers in hands-on activities, games, and enrichment experiences.

• Supervise campers throughout the day and perform regular head counts during transitions, activities, and off-site experiences.

• Help ensure camper safety by monitoring hydration, play areas, equipment, and overall camper well-being.

• Follow all camp protocols and directions provided by the Youth Director.

• Communicate any supply needs, safety concerns, or camper needs to the Program Director or lead staff.

• Interact professionally and warmly with parents/guardians during drop-off and pick-up.

• Assist with daily set-up and clean-up of camp areas.

• Help carry, organize, and keep track of activity supplies across campus and during off-site activities.

• Support a positive camp culture by modeling kindness, responsibility, flexibility, and enthusiasm.

 

Ideal candidates are:

• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

• Comfortable working with children in an active camp setting.

• Able to communicate clearly with campers, families, and staff.

• Flexible, patient, and willing to jump in where needed.

• Able to move around campus, carry supplies, and participate in indoor and outdoor camp activities.

• Available to work June 29 - August 7 

• Different shifts available
